Celestials are Cool

Some notes on Celestials.

A Celestial is a being worthy of being called Holy or Divine.

A Celestial is not often associated with a god of any stripe.

Angels are not Celestial.

Unicorns, Kirin, Coatl, Valkyrie, and Bulls are Celestials, to name a few from other cultures.

Celestials hearken to no pantheon, though at times they may serve gods. This is often out of interest of the Celestial, and convenience for the god, such as Odin and his Valkyrie.

Celestials are not born, created, forged, or otherwise made. Instead they Appear. They Appear because they have Purposes.

This Purpose is often to bless an area. After all, the domain of a Celestial is pure, holy, beautiful, and without conflict. This is called a Paradise.

Celestials do not smite other creatures. Celestials can do battle, but often their powers manifest in ways that influence other creatures or that otherwise bless the world.

Celestials make pacts. This creates Warlocks.

Celestial pacts are either Oaths (Swear to me that you will make all before you a Paradise. Swear to me that you will fairly judge who lives and dies in battle. Swear to me that the young will be protected from the corrupt.) or Last Wills (Please, protect this Paradise. I beg of thee, do not let the creatures here rot away.)
