Drow Hunt You For Agony-Flavored Syrup

Drow are from Hell. That is, the underground. That is, the genesis of insects.

Drow are the nightmares, dreams, and songs of ancient spiders. The first drow crawled out of their shed skins, which were filled with memories of lucid dreams.

The above means that Drow are fey born in hell. They know only hunger. They know only consumption.

What we call Sin or Base Instincts, most drow call food. Their societies underground are built only for the purpose of gaining this food. The purest food is agony.

To call a Drow a demon is both right and wrong.

Drow are sexual because that makes the agony inflicted on their targets easier. Drow make deals (deals with the devil are deals with drow. Drows are Devils) because betraying someone is the best seasoning for agony.

There are no drow cities. Drow despise each other--they invade one another's turf.

There is a great Drow Nest. It is inside the half-shed skin of an ancient spider the size of a moon. Because the spider is still shedding its skin, it is still creating more and more drow.

Because drow are Devil/Demon/Fey, they cannot abide the sun. It sings a song they care not to hear.

Some drow are influenced by other songs after their creation. This is why drow can be a player race.

There was once a Drow that saw the Sun. The Drow stared at it until it lost its vision. This Drow wandered the surface world without hunger. It experienced the world. This Drow attained Enlightenment.

Other drow became hungry for this enlightenment. They too came to the surface, and most of them destroyed, for they operated at day and not night.

Some drow came to believe that enlightenment could end their hunger. They learned to control themselves. They found a new home: Mountains.

All drow see mountains as Buddhist Monks see lotus blossoms.

In many mountain peaks, there is a monastery. The monastery is inside the peak. This is symbollic. They are still underground, but are above the rest of their race. They have risen above the hunger of their peers. They are proof that, even over thousands of years, what was once just a base darkness can reach towards the sun.

These are Drow. They wander the world during the day, leaving their mountaintops to recreate He That Saw the Sun in themselves, to experience the world.

Every Drow experiences a battle between hunger for agony and a need for enlightenment. They are the Buddhist Principle taken to the extreme.

Non-player drow still exist in slim numbers. The veins of the earth underground is inhospitable to them, even though they are born there.

Many drow are extremely stylized. Some become fat, some beautiful, some monstrous, some covered in bones, some distorted. Their shapes are carefully crafted, their bodies slowly modified, to enhance their chosen strategy of hunting agony from the surface.

The tiefling city of Pandemonium hunts drow viciously. For tieflings, too, feel agony, and drow are forever hunting them. But drow are useful tools against the aasimar city of Heaven, and so many are sent there in a form of terrorism.

There was once a Drow Monk that saw the entire world but did not go blind. He learned how to turn nights into ink, and he used that ink to create great mausoleums for kings. These mausoleums, literally made of night, are holy places for Drow and men alike.

Drow magic centers around recreating the darkness underground, and absolute control over the term "Black." Drow magic is black magic, night magic, ink magic, naming magic, etc.

The ability to pull stars out of the sky to smite foes (meteor swarm) was created by a drow who wanted a pure night to hunt in. This spell has been enshrined in a scroll and fought over by great and powerful entities for far too long.

Elves do not exist. Drow do.

There is no greater hunter of man then Drow.

Legend of the Cleric

There is a man.

He is called the Cleric. He is the only man in the world to hold this title. No other priest, clergymen, nun, or otherwise holy figure dare take his title, for fear of obliteration.

He has seen the world scoured by angels. He has learned their secrets. He has seen their genesis.

He has learned how to birth angels.

And how to make them obey.

The Cleric speaks to birds. Birds are holy creatures from which man forged the first angel from.

He serves no god. He is not a vessel for any such power. He is the maestro. He is the Conductor of the Choirs of Heaven.

All angels serve the Cleric. From the prayers of a billion wronged people he has made an army to bring forth a new world.

The War Against Heaven is a war against the Cleric.

He is not a Messiah. He is not a Saint. He is not Royalty. he has no Muse to guide him, nor gun to wield. He knows no magic.

The angels are bound to his flesh. Tattooed across his skin are gospels.

He forged Heaven, the City of Aasimar. He was not the one who began, nor is the one who continues, the blessing of virgin women to give birth to Aasimar and Tieflings.

Though he forges Angels, he did not forge the 9 Spheres, nor the Archangels, nor the Zodiac. He merely sped up the process.

The Angels cannot brainwash him. They cannot make him believe in them. They are his children, and they obey their father without complaint or argument.

Behold the Cleric, for he is mighty.

Aasimar & Tieflings are Twins Born from Virgins

Some notes on Aasimar & Tiefings.

Both are born together, as twins.

They are only born from virgin mothers.

Aasimar hearts are made out of liquid gold. Their heart stops beating when they take on their more Celestial forms.

Tiefling bones are filled with a substance similar to gunpowder. It attaches to their blood.

Angels seek out both.

Tieflings are often the scorned of the two, but their connection to Hell is tenuous at best. Theories but not facts surround their monstrous forms.

Demons seek out Aasimar to feast on them.

Devils seek out Tieflings as servants.

The bond between the twins is unnaturally strong. They know when the other is in pain, they know when the other is happy, and they know when the other has died.

Children had with an Aasimar are always stillborn.

Children had with a Tiefling have unnatural vitality.

Many stories and plays are retellings of Aasimar and Tiefling adventures. Twins of this breed are always pulled into greater legends.

If one twin kills the other, they both die.

If the twins mate, no child can be produced.

Tieflings are thought of as omens. Some tribes will cannibalize the Tiefling twin, hoping to gain the power to overcome fate and destiny.

Aasimar are thought of as leaders and martyrs. Aasimar twins will often be groomed for some great, suicidal task that will never be completed.

Many Tieflings become Warlocks. Those with powers beyond that of humankin desire to tap into the infernal blood locked away inside of their bones.

Many Aasimar become Paladins. They are often forced into taking sacred oaths, for that is what they have been groomed to do.

There is a city of Aasimar. It is ruled the Angel of Libra. It is surrounded by a graveyard of Tiefling twins. The Angel kills the Tiefling, and curses the Aasimar with visions of manifest destiny, destroying the bond between the twins.

Demons do not consume Tieflings. They fear the fire in their blood. Thus, deep underground, Tieflings have formed a city in hell where they rule over legions of demons. These Tieflings have all lost their twin due to tragedy and were broken by it.

The city of the Aasimar is called Heaven. It is a false name. It is a holy site for many pilgrims. It is at war with Pandemonium, the city of Tieflings deep underground.

Both cities manifest once every Six Hundred and Sixteen Years, on the 13th day of the year.

Their war tears countries apart. Often, twins work desperately to stop it, only to be consumed by one side or the other.

Aasimar are known for their pale blue eyes. When their activate the Celestial Engine within their heart, their eyes turn gold, and their blood forms great, bright wings behind them, and halos above them, or shrouds of golden blood cover their faces and arms.

Tiefling are known for their hooves, horns, and red, black, or violet skin. Tieflings have no other form to take. The strife a TIefling suffers in life often leads them to manifest more horrific traits, such as greater horns, bat wings, long tails, sharp claws, and other such terrific things.

Tieflings are not kindred to demons. Aasimar are kindred to Angels. Aasimar are not kindred to Celestials. Tiefling are kindred to Angels.

If one twin dies of old age, as does the other.

The virgin mother always dies in childbirth. All Tieflings and all Aasimar are orphans.

The Orphan King will one day destroy Heaven and Pandemonium.

Celestials are Cool

Some notes on Celestials.

A Celestial is a being worthy of being called Holy or Divine.

A Celestial is not often associated with a god of any stripe.

Angels are not Celestial.

Unicorns, Kirin, Coatl, Valkyrie, and Bulls are Celestials, to name a few from other cultures.

Celestials hearken to no pantheon, though at times they may serve gods. This is often out of interest of the Celestial, and convenience for the god, such as Odin and his Valkyrie.

Celestials are not born, created, forged, or otherwise made. Instead they Appear. They Appear because they have Purposes.

This Purpose is often to bless an area. After all, the domain of a Celestial is pure, holy, beautiful, and without conflict. This is called a Paradise.

Celestials do not smite other creatures. Celestials can do battle, but often their powers manifest in ways that influence other creatures or that otherwise bless the world.

Celestials make pacts. This creates Warlocks.

Celestial pacts are either Oaths (Swear to me that you will make all before you a Paradise. Swear to me that you will fairly judge who lives and dies in battle. Swear to me that the young will be protected from the corrupt.) or Last Wills (Please, protect this Paradise. I beg of thee, do not let the creatures here rot away.)

Some Notes on Demons pt. 1

1.) Demons are the antithesis to a culture. They exist to destroy, with all definitions of that world being valid, what that culture produces. If the culture values virginity, demons are the opposite of that. If the culture values war, demons are the opposite of that too.

2.) Demons operate through rituals. Profane rituals are a form of counter-culture, and counter-culture is the easiest weapon for a demon to possess. Many civilizations have fallen because demons twist the minds of artistic or rebellious movements, which allow them to then twist the minds of the mainstream and normal movements too.

3.) Demons cannot be killed. When a demon "dies," it is simply recreated to continue plaguing the culture it haunts. If that culture dies, the demon is broken down and reshaped and then sent to another culture. Because of this diabolist believe that there are a limited number of "demon classifications" that manifest in different ways for different cultures.

4.) Demons can be exorcised. This is how one defeats a demon. Exorcism involves taking the most pure, divine, or sacred aspects of a culture, codifying them, and using them to banish or seal a demon. This does not kill the demon--it just removes it from the playing field.

5.) Summoning a demon for a task is the same as setting yourself on fire to light a torch. If you know a demon's true name, it's because the demon has, at one point, put its true name out there to be known. You aren't summoning the demon, you are progressing one of the demon's manyfold plans. This isn't always bad for you, but it is always bad for somebody.

6.) Angels are no better, and in fact, are worse in many situations.

7.) Every religion, civilization, culture, tribe, tradition, etc has stories about an afterlife. The afterlife is a construct of demons--it is where they dwell, where they grow, where they sleep. When someone dies, their soul sometimes slips into the afterlife. Be it Heaven, Hell, Valhalla, Elysium, the Shadowfell, the Wall of Souls, or anywhere else, you can be sure that demons are at the heart of it, and that this is just another engine of destruction chugging along.

8.) Doves, not angels, are the natural enemies of demons.

Fae are Born From Music Older than Old

Some notes on Fae.

The world of Fae is called Three-Fourth. This represents the universal music of three beats and a rest.

Music is emotion and truth.

Fae represent one truth and one emotion. Any other shown "emotions" are really just different executions of the one that is embodied inside of the Fae.

Three-Forth is filled with more than Fae. Many things have wandered here, and many things will wander out.

Fae do not die. Even when the music that makes them ends, the emotion lingers like a stain on the world.

Fae that are "killed" haunt their killers, destroy them, and wander the cosmos, destroying more things like their killers.

Fae have rules. These rules are nebulous but symbolic of the music/emotion/truth that the Fae represents.

Elves are not fae, but a people who have heard the magic of Three-Forth and adopted it. They are sylvan, yes, but they are not Fae.

Goblins, Bugbears, Banshees, and the like are all Fae who have long since been detatched from their original ideas and emotions, and now represent suffering as both an emotion and a truth.

Magic is to Fae as breathing is to us. To them, there is no "magic," only Fae.

Fae means enchantment.

Faerie means Place of Enchantment, or Doer of Enchantment.

There are Lords and Ladies.

The reason nature and Fae are so intertwined is because nature was the first voice to sing and the first instrument to be played.

There are modern Fae of houses and villages and cities and steel warfare.

Cold iron isn't very useful against Fae. It just so happens that metal itself is very useful in killing anything you want to kill.

The Lords and Ladies are comparable to gods.

Fae take on the form of dreams and imaginations.

Humans dream and imagine far more than other races, and thus Fae are all humanoid.

Entering Three-Forths is possible. Listen for music in the wood, music made of nature, and follow it. You will likely die.

Fae make contracts with humans in order to mine their brains for ideas yet undiscovered.

Fae trick humans and wrap them up in fairy tales in order to create ideas yet unexecuted.

Ideas undiscovered and yet unexecuted feed the fae like blood to a starved vampire.

All Fae are starving.

The Lords and Ladies are known as Archfey to those that study magic, as God to those that study old religions, and as Extinction to worlds they have ended.

Some insects are not demons, but instead are fae. These insects were born from the minds of creatures older than men, and men themselves. Butterflies, moths, and fireflies are all Fae insects.

Because many animals are yet older than men by significant margins, many of them have memories of Fae buried deep in their instincts.

An intelligent animal is intelligent because it has heard enough of the song to develop a thinking mind. A thinking mind dreams. Fae consume animal dreams as well as human.

The more you think of Fae, the more real they are.

Fae appear always vanishing in order to draw you deeper into their plans.

A fae plan will also mix pleasure and pain in such a way as to destroy you.

"You must crack an egg to cook it."
Angels and Stars do not trifle with the Lords and Ladies, for they are younger than all Fae. Demons hunger for Fae just as they do for men. Thus witches are born--men and women who have been given the music from Fae to attract demons.

Hell is Where Insects Come From

What if Hell was a dark place in your world, a dark place of insects and hunger.

'

What if, in this world, all insects were demons. Flies, lotus, wasps; all demons of different orders. What if spiders and other arachnids were the nobility of demons, the masters of this Dark and Crawling Hell.

What if all these things filled the world in order to feed on it. They hunger for our blood, for our corpses; maggots live inside the dead, feasting on the remnants of the soul and the fading embers of our dreams stored in corpse flesh.

Hell is a place filled with life. It teems with it. But you cannot see any of it. Worms twist through damp and dank tunnels carved out by sinners whose sole purpose in life is to feed greater demons. The tunnels are where the Ant Queens gestate and produce greater and more powerful things.

A Warlock who makes a pact with a demon is someone who makes a pact with insects. Flies buzz around them or scarabs crawl out of their ears and mouth at night. They must sleep in soil, and some spin webs to protect themselves. Their flesh becomes hard and segmented; an exoskeleton is Mage Armor, Eldritch Blast a poisonous sting, Hex the maddening sound of buzzing in your ears, and something crawling under your skin.

Butterflies and moths are the dark demons of sidhe. Lotus, wasps, and ants are those born in the hearts of men.

Hell is a dark place of crawling hunger. We are the food of sin.
